Every room has its ideal model. Answer two questions — what size is it and how will you use it? — and find the right air cooler in 30 seconds.
1. How large is your room?
- Under 15 m² (student bedroom, small office) → Lite (the budget choice) or Compact Silent (the quietest under €100)
- 15 to 25 m² (bedroom, standard living room) → Lite Night for sleeping, Pro 9000 for the family, Deluxe if you want everything (4-in-1)
- 25 to 36 m² (large living room, lounge) → Frost 9000 or Frost 9000 Smart — the only 2 models with the GelCore™ system (air blown 6–8 °C cooler)
- 36 to 45 m² (very large room, open-plan space) → Max (450 m³/h, the most powerful in the standard segment) or the premium freestanding Signature / Signature Ultra range (HEPA, Wi-Fi)
2. What is your main use?
- Sleeping comfortably in cool air → prioritize low noise: Lite Night (54 dB night mode) is designed for this.
- Family living space → prioritize durability and airflow: Pro 9000 (mechanical buttons) or Deluxe (4-in-1).
- Renter, no drilling possible → the no-drill wall-mounted range: Wall Pro or Wall Classic.
- Personal workstation → the Mini USB cools one person, not a room.
Three honest rules for choosing well
1. An air cooler is not an air conditioner. The blown air is noticeably cooler, but the temperature of the entire room does not drop as it does with a compressor. In return: no hose, no installation, energy consumption approximately ten times lower, and a price of €49 to €380 instead of €1,500+.
2. The effect is greatest in dry air and a ventilated room. Open a window slightly, use very cold water or ice packs, and direct the airflow toward you.
3. If you are choosing between two sizes, choose the larger one. An undersized appliance runs at full power (more noise); a generously sized appliance runs at speed 1 (quiet and durable).
